The Final of the Sussex Under 13 League took place at K2 Leisure Centre, Crawley where all 10 Clubs that compete in the league met in the grand final. The Blue Star team put up a great performance to finish in third place, scoring 284 points, behind winners Brighton (350 points) and Crawley (345 points).

There were many good performances, with Antoine Stehle winning the Boys High Jump, with a personal best leap of 1.50m. Team mate Edward Crossman took second place in the B event with a clearance of 1.35m. Stehle then went on to take third place in the 75m Hurdles, running 14.5s, with Craig Harris also taking third place in the B race in 15.6s. The Discus saw Oscar Brooke-Webb throw 17.30m to finish second, with Ed Cox winning the B string with a throw of 14.12m.

The Girls events saw Macy Lawes win the B race in the 70m Hurdles, where she ran 13.6s, with Sophie Hogton just edged into third place in the A race, running 12.7s, where all the first three crossed the line together. Lawes then showed her versatility by finishing third in the Shot with a throw of 7.39m, with team mate Alina Hillicks throwing 6.18m for second place in the B string. Emily Hutchinson gained two second places, firstly clearing 1.38m in the High Jump and then throwing a personal best 26.63m in the Javelin. Hillicks also took a second place in the B string Discus with a throw of 15.34m, with Hayley Emerson throwing 15.88m for fifth place in the A event.
The 4 x 100m relays concluded the programme and the Boys team of Patrick Mair, Antoine Stehle, , Edward Crossman and Craig Harris were involved in a very exciting race where in a tight finish the first two teams were given the same time of 56.4s, with Harris just edging the Blue Star team home in front. The Girls team finished fifth in 59.4s.
